En tant que @LaGeeke, je ne pouvais pas passer à côté d’un tel groupe. Je me suis même étonnée que la ville de Québec en ait enfin un. Je devais donc y participer! Voici quelques petites informations qui vous feront découvrir ou répondre à certaines de vos questions sur le QGGD.

Le « Girl Geek Dinners » fut fondé le 16 août 2005 par Sarah Blow. Elle fait ici une belle description de ce qu’est selon elle, être geek: « […] to be geeky is to be intelligent, have passion for a subject and to know that subject in depth. It’s not at all about being better than others, or about gender, race, religion or anything else. Those things just detract from the real fun stuff, the technology, the innovation and the spread of new ideas. »
